OYAMA Olympiad in Honbu Dojo ! 850 participants !  photo: Radosław Dyduch  The final of the 8th Krakow Oyama Karate Olympiad for Children and the Youth took place in the Main Dojo in Krakow-Poland. The tournament was organized by Krakowski Club OYAMA with its leader Shihan Jan Dyduch 7th dan. Over 850 children and the youth took part in the competition. Participants were the members of OYAMA Polish Karate Federation and non-members i.a coming from at-risk-of-poverty and pathology environments. Our youngest heroes, photo: Radosław Dyduch 120 participants who qualified for the finals competed in categories, divided due to their age and training. Events checked their general sportsmanship and some particular abilities. Shihan Andrzej Pierzchała 5th dan was the Main referee of the Olympiad. Beautiful medals for children were founded by the authorities of the City of Krakow.
