Polish OYAMA Semi-knockdown Cup With the participation of 180 competitors ! photo: Alicja Kozłowska Annual Junior and Senior Polish Oyama Karate Cup in Semi-knockdown took place in Łask. The competion was under the patronage of Mr Włodzimierz Fisak- the Marshall of the Łodz Province and Hanshi Jan Dyduch - the President of OYAMA Polish Karate Federation. About 180 female and male fighters took part in the competition. They represented 31 Oyama karate clubs, 3 Kyokushin-Tezuka Group club and Kyokushin Matsushima one. This successful tournament was organized by Łaski Klub Walki with its leader Sensei Stanislaw Kołodziejski 2nd dan. Shihan Paweł Pajdak 5th dan (Sosnowiec) was the Head Referee of the Polish Cup.
photo: Alicja Kozłowska The duties of the mat referees were fulfilled by masters: Eugeniusz Stanisławek 5th dan (Wałbrzych), Witold Choiński 5th dan (Białystok), Rafał Majda 4th dan (Jelenia Góra), Bogusław Plewka 4th dan (Lubliniec), Robert Bretner 4th dan (Kraków) and Mariusz Pawlus 3rd dan (Oświęcim). Prizes were handed by Hanshi Jan Dyduch 8th dan, the President of OYAMA Polish Karate Federation. The tournament was at very good sports and organizational level. The Best Fighters of Polish Cup: Katarzyna Starzyńska, Dawid Gerstel, Aleksandra Broda i Dariusz Bartula.
