This year the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic forced the XIX OYAMA KARATE Olympiad to be conducted on the group level only. The event was  organized on October 19-22 2020.  The event gathered 480 students that competed in athletic and technical challenges. This year the competition was limited to local training groups and the participation of spectators was strictly forbidden. The Olympiad was organized by Krakowski Club OYAMA with financial support of the Municipality of Krakow as a part of the “Sports Against Alienation” program.

Beginners competed in numerous, timed, running activities. Youngest children additionally competed in bonus games to encourage them to take in  part sports activities in the future regardless of their failures in the past. That gave them the chance of winning a medal and of course gave them joy to competing in the event itself.
