Grand Master Shigeru Oyama 10th dan paid a visit in Krakow, invited by OYAMA Polish Karate Federation. He conducted a seminar and a two day black belt test. Nearly 300 instructors and students from Poland, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Estonia, USA, Germany, Ireland , Azerbaijan and Iran participated in this event. Meeting was organized with a support from The City of Krakow, in the Com-Com Zone Sports Hall.

The 13th Polish Junior Semi-knockdown OYAMA Karate Championships took place in Piotrkow Trybunalski. 109 participants from 32 clubs took part in the tournament. The championships were organized by Piotrkowski Klub Oyama Karate WASHI with its leader Sensei Dariusz Szulc 2nd dan. The tournament was held under the patronage of local authorities and Hanshi Jan Dyduch 8th dan, the president of OYAMA Polish Karate Federation.

The 15th Polish Senior Knockdown OYAMA Karate Championships and All-Polish Senior Oyama Karate Tournament in Semi-knockdown were held in Wadowice. Hanshi Jan Dyduch 8th dan, President of OYAMA Polish Karate Federation took patronage over the championships. Both tournaments were organized by Małopolski Karate Club and its leader Sensei Jacek Kasperek 3rd dan.
