POLISH NATIONAL OYAMA PKF SEMINAR IN KATA

On October 4, 2025, the OYAMA PKF Polish National Training Seminar in Kata and Kobudo was held at the modern WKS Śląsk Wrocław Sports Hall and was led by Hanshi Jan Dyduch (9th dan). Nearly 200 participants attended, including club leaders, technical training directors, candidates preparing for the 2026 master exam in Kraków, black belts and a broad group of junior and senior competitors.

The event was hosted by the Oyama Karate Club DRAGON Wrocław, led by Shihan Sebastian Mielcarek, 5th dan.

During the opening ceremony, Hanshi Jan Dyduch honoured Shihan Ryszard Żółty, 5th dan (Kraków), Shihan Grzegorz Trzeciak, 5th dan (Wrocław), Shihan Sebastian Mielcarek, 5th dan (Wrocław) and Sensei Łukasz Laskowski, 4th dan (Wrocław), with congratulatory letters on the occasion of their karate anniversaries. The training session focused on perfecting Kihon and Kihon Kata 7 and 8 was led by Shihan Andrzej Tomiałowicz, 6th dan (Lubsko). The class on Seienchin with bunkai was conducted by Shihan Paweł Pajdak, 7th dan (Sosnowiec). The session dedicated to refining Kumite No Kata 1 and 2 with practical applications, as well as workshops on Tonfa Kihon-3 and Taizan, were led by Saiko Shihan Andrzej Pierzchała, 8th dan (Kraków).

At the conclusion of the event, Hanshi Jan Dyduch announced the next OYAMA PFK National Seminar on Kata, scheduled for January 10-11, 2026, in Turek.
