31st OYAMA PKF POLISH KATA CHAMPIONSHIPS
 Jakub Kowalik confirmed his championship class by winning gold in both Kata and Kobudo Photo Radosław Dyduch On June 6, 2026, the 31st OYAMA PKF Polish Kata Championships took place at the MOSiR Sports Hall in Tychy. A total of 145 female and male competitors from 21 clubs affiliated with our Federation participated in the tournament. The event was held under the patronage of Maciej Gramatyka, Mayor of Tychy, and Jan Dyduch, President of the OYAMA Polish Karate Federation. The Championships were organized by the Tychy Karate Club under the leadership of Shihan Danuta Fyda-Granek, 5th Dan, who received a commemorative trophy from Hanshi Jan Dyduch, 9th Dan together with congratulations and thanks for the exemplary organization of the tournament. Among the distinguished guests was Saiko Shihan Andrzej Pierzchała, 8th Dan (Kraków), Vice President of Training of OYAMA IKF. The Chef Referee of the Championships was Shihan Paweł Pajdak, 7th Dan (Sosnowiec).  The best competitors in Tychy Photo Radosław Dyduch The trophies for the Best Female Competitor and Best Male Competitor of the Polish Championships in Tychy were awarded to junior athletes Jagoda Mekwińska (Piotrków Trybunalski Washi) and Kacper Meroń (Tychy). Both competitors won an outstanding three gold medals each!!! CONGRATULATIONS, OSU! The trophies and medals, prepared by SUTEMI, were presented by Hanshi Jan Dyduch, Saiko Shihan Andrzej Pierzchała and Shihan Paweł Pajdak.
